A fire damaged a laundromat on Spruce Avenue early Monday morning.
About 5:20 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, Las Cruces firefighters were dispatched to a commercial structure fire at 1027 Spruce Ave.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke inside Spruce Laundry. Firefighters quickly located the fire and extinguished it within about 25 minutes.
The fire was contained to the laundromat and did not extend to the attached properties. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire and damage estimates have yet to be determined.
