Las Cruces police continue to investigate a Wednesday evening shooting that resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man.
About 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, Las Cruces police and fire were dispatched to the report of a gunshot victim on the 2100 block of Lynch Drive. First responders arrived to find Justin Griffin, 36, unresponsive on the roadway.
Griffin appeared to have suffered at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.
