While this certainly isn’t Nashville’s first rodeo, an event fans won’t want to miss is headed to the Tennessee city and some of country music’s biggest names are coming with it.
Country Living Magazine gives us the scoop!
This summer, Music City Rodeo, Nashville’s first-ever Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo, is headed to Bridgestone Area from May 29 to May 31. The anticipated event will bring bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, and unforgettable performances to the country music capital of the world. Country music has always been the soundtrack to the traveling rodeo event so what better place to host it than the home of country music itself, right?
If you were wondering who was able to bring this event to Nashville, well, you can thank none other than founding members Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, and Jelly Roll—each of whom will be headlining a concert at Bridgestone Arena each night of the event. Each artist shared the same promo video to their Instagram and to no one’s surprise, fans couldn’t contain their excitement in the comment section.
“This is exciting! I can’t wait to see it come to fruition 🔥” and “So excited for y’all!,” wrote fans. “Let’s go Nashville rodeo! Can’t wait,” said another.
This event will be the first time Reba McEntire has headlined a performance at Bridgestone Arena since October 22 and it’s a full circle moment for the “Fancy” singer since she regularly regards her National Anthem performance at a 1974 rodeo as a key moment that began her successful career.
With Jelly Roll and Tim McGraw also performing, it’s going to be a 3-day event stacked with a ton of unforgettable moments that fans have to look forward to.
