The Food and Drug Administration increased the recall of one of Frito-Lay’s most popular chips to Class I, meaning “there is a reasonable probability” that eating it “will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.”
Frito-Lay first issued a recall for its Tostitos Cantina-style corn chips on March 26 after it was notified that some packages actually contain nacho cheese corn chips, and therefore contain milk, which is not declared on the package.
