A residential structure fire damaged a home on the 1600 block of Sacramento Street early Thursday morning.
Las Cruces firefighters responded to the structure fire on Sacramento St. at about 4:30 a.m., Thurs., Oct. 16.
Crews arrived on scene to find a home with heavy smoke and fire coming from the structure. The fire was brought under control within minutes. Seven people were transported a local hospital for evaluation, one 46 year old remains hospitalized with injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and there is no estimate of damage at this time.
