Las Cruces municipal elections for City Council District 3, City Council District 5, City Council District 6, and Municipal Judge were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025.
Unofficial results of those elections are:
City Council District 3:
Michael James Harris, 1,096 votes (55 percent)
Isaiah Paul Tellez, 893 votes (45 percent)
Paul Kevin Paar (Write In), 0 votes, (0 percent)
Note: Write in ballots are still being counted.
City Council District 5:
Becky Ann Corran, 1,987 votes (63 percent)
Ronnie M Sisneros, 1,174 votes (37 percent)
City Council District 6:
John P Munoz, 2,198 votes (62.5 percent)
Richard Reynaud, 1,319 votes (37.5 percent)
Note: The City Council District 6 election was decided in three rounds of Ranked Choice Voting.
Municipal Judge:
James Prentice DeRossitt IV, 11,362 votes (100 percent)
Unofficial results of Las Cruces’ municipal elections are from the New Mexico Secretary of State website. Election results will be certified by the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners within ten days of the election and then by the State of New Mexico by the end of November.
Newly elected municipal officials will be administered the Oath of Office on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025. The newly elected municipal officials begin four-year terms of office on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
