Las Cruces Public Schools, in partnership with the New Mexico Public Education Department, is offering a 2026 New Mexico Summer Reading Program designed to help students strengthen reading and math skills while building confidence for the next school year.
June 1 – June 25
Monday–Thursday | 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
This program is FREE for students in grades K–8 and includes:
High-impact tutoring from trained literacy instructors
Small group instruction (maximum of 4 students per group)
Structured literacy and math support
Free meals

Picacho Middle School • Zia Middle School • Monte Vista Elementary
