A fire on west Amador Avenue damaged a home and a detached structure Monday morning.
About 10 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, Las Cruces firefighters were dispatched to the report of a fire at a home on the 1300 block of west Amador Avenue. First-arriving crews found the back of the house and a detached structure on fire.
Firefighters attacked the blaze and had it under control within 15 minutes. Crews searched the home and detached structure and found no occupants.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and damage estimates have not yet been determined.
