Crime Stoppers offers $1,000 reward for tips on attempted ATM theft in Las Cruces (CREDIT: Crime Stoppers)
LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — Crime Stoppers of Las Cruces and Doña Ana County is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the identification of a suspect involved in an attempted ATM theft.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Sunday when a suspect tried to forcibly remove money from an ATM outside First Savings Bank at 2804 N. Telshor Blvd.
Although the suspect failed to access the cash, the attempt caused an estimated $25,000 in damages to the ATM.
