Country music singer Cody Johnson recently underwent surgery to repair a ruptured eardrum. He announced the news on his social media platforms, stating that he has been battling a severe upper respiratory and sinus infection that led to the eardrum rupture.
Johnson is expected to make a full recovery, but will need to undergo a period of rest and rehabilitation. He has canceled all of his remaining tour dates for 2025 to focus on his health.
In a video message to fans, Johnson said: “I’m not going to lie, this is a tough pill to swallow. But I’m grateful for the support of my family, friends, and fans. I’m going to get through this, and I’ll be back on stage soon.”
The surgery was performed successfully, and Johnson is currently recovering at home. He is expected to provide updates on his progress in the coming weeks
