A Saturday evening crash on north Telshor Boulevard claimed the life of a 47-year-old pedestrian and Las Cruces police are asking for help locating other vehicles that may have struck the man.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, Las Cruces police and fire were dispatched to a crash involving a pedestrian on the 2200 block of north Telshor Boulevard. First responders arrived to find a 47-year-old man suffering from multiple injuries.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene. His name will be withheld until next of kin have been notified.

Traffic investigators learned the man entered the roadway going east to west across Telshor Boulevard when he was struck by a Chevrolet Impala that was headed north. The initial impact knocked the pedestrian into the southbound lane where he was struck by at least one vehicle that was heading south. It’s possible that multiple southbound vehicles struck the pedestrian.

The 24-year-old driver of the Impala was not injured, remained on scene and has been cooperative with the investigation. Other drivers did not remain on scene and continued heading south on Telshor.
Investigators believe it’s possible that other drivers did not know they struck the pedestrian.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information on other vehicles involved is asked to call Las Cruces police at (575) 526-0795.
