The public is invited to come out to Fort Selden and learn about adobe horno, or outdoor oven, restoration and preservation.
What: Fort Selden site staff, with the help from horno expert Dave Harkness, will be combating the effects of time and weather on the horno, restoring it to its former glory. This workshop will help get the horno ready for future cooking events, like the Thanksgiving horno bread workshop on Nov. 23rd.
