Police are asking for help locating a 68-year-old Las Cruces man who has not been seen or heard from by family in several weeks.
Arthur J. Crothers was last believed to be in the area of Santa Teresa, N.M., or El Paso, Texas, between approximately Nov. 15, 2025, and the first of December. He was discharged from a healthcare facility during that time and called a relative for a ride home. By the time the relative arrived at the meet-up location, Crothers was not there.
Relatives reported him as missing on Dec. 9.
Crothers is 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
He has gray, salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes.
