Appointment Requirements

• Schedule your appointment online (maximum of one pet per client, per day).
• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
• Follow the fasting instructions provided after your appointment is confirmed.
• Dogs must be on a leash. Cats and kittens must arrive in a secure carrier.
• Upload your pet’s vaccination records through the online portal. Pets must be fully vaccinated. Surgery may be performed at least two weeks after the final vaccination and only if the pet is 6 months of age or older.
• Bring an Elizabethan collar (e-collar) for your pet.
• Plan to leave your pet at the clinic for several hours while the procedure is completed.

For the safety of your pet, surgery will not be performed if the animal:
• is sick, injured, or has an infection.
• is not fully vaccinated.
• is younger than 6 months or older than 2 years.
• is female and currently in heat, pregnant, or nursing.
• is male with undescended testicles.
• weighs less than 5 pounds or more than 40 pounds.
• is obese for its breed or size.
• has fleas or ticks.
• displays aggressive behavior.
• is a feral cat.
• is a Doberman (due to blood clotting concerns).
• is a brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed, such as a Pug, Bulldog, Boxer, or Pekingese (due to respiratory concerns).
• does not have an e-collar available at check-in.
